This lake spawns good most years.
Anybody fish Hawkins this week?
Is it better North or South?
What is the water temp?
There should be beds all over the lake. But cranks and spinners should work well in shallow water.
Thanks!

I was just about to ask the same question on here, thought i might check to see if someone has already asked first. C'mon guys now 2 people need answers to these questions. Help a fellow fisherman out haha.

I wish I was fishin', unless I already am fishin', in that case i wish I was catchin'.

Thought this was going to be about Hawkins the DIP. My grandpaw use to spit tobacco juce on my fishing worms and I would catch a catfish everytime.

We fished it last weekend. There were a few bucks on beds I fished the south end mainly. Had friends fish the north end. Tough fishing. They were not all over on beds ,but should be getting close. The beds I saw was not really clean beds either . Wasn't a whole lot of fish caught last weekend.
