Surely one boat is trying to get past the other in that creek. Otherwise that's ridiculous and in my opinion someone should be disqualified.

Cliff's smiling so I'm sure they worked something out. As for a DQ, these guys fish this close to one another all the time with good communication.
If one didn't want the other one that close, he would state that. First one there has control.
Now in a case like happened with Kevin Langill and Boyd Duckett, Langill was DQ'd for unsportsmanlike conduct. This was because Boyd asked him to give some space and Langill went nuts.
So long as the anglers agree to share the spot, no dq's.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

The disqualification thing only works when another competitor says something. Communication is the key. I have fished pretty close to other boats and we all worked it out, and all caught fish.

Just for the record, if we are fishing a tournament and you are thinking about asking me if bumping rub rails is too close...the answer is "yes."

Looks like any other tournament day on Fork in White Oak or Long Branch except it would be 5 boats not just the 2.

Even the Sand bass guys in the huge Armada's would say that's too close but if no one cares then no one cares.
