I beat the hell out of cedar ridge area today and got 2 mature males, just turning a little dark around the gills. water 61 to 62 degrees. lots of fish staged in 10 to 13 feet near structure, but not on it.. I will try again in a few days . like to see 65 to 67 degrees. I didnt make it up that way today, but have got some solid info that white flint park cove has been giving up a few, and a fella at cedar ridge marina told me he has been doing ok at night and early morning around the slips over there. the water looks great at cedar ridge area, just too cold still

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I live in Austin. If I go Sat. it'll be around 10 before I can get there. I'm easy to spot...white hair and beard stubling over the rocks.
