I don't see anything wrong with that at all...if they're solid on one side, I'd knock some boards off...maybe use those to attach a 2nd "triangle" on top, that way it will cover more of the column...

Good idea but takes a lot of weight to hold pallets down.

I don't live for the thump, but I sure do like it.

Thanks didnt think of stacking. My next thought is how long would it take for them to hang out once dropped . Here at Fork im seeing my neighbor catch a limit in 2 to 3 feet of water on a jig. His Dock is wood with lots of cedar and other types of wood.

My brother used pallets and it took 4 or 5 cender blocks to get 1 pallet to sink.

they work well ...
oak pallets are best .....
use 3 and attach them on one side 2 each other
form a triangle amd tie a cinder block or 2 on the ends
fish teepees ......
the people that helped us learn how to manage ponds taught us this trick and the fish seem to love them
good luck on them

i tried to sink my pallet with a cinder block and just floated, as week later it was water logged but still floating. A sack of quickcrete and an old bucket to do the job though

I'm thankful for all the things i have, and all the things i don't. I have dreams that will come true and i have some that won't.
