Like the title says. I am looking to purchase a second kayak. This kayak will be used for family outings. I would prefer something that could work both as a tandem or a solo in case I were to have a buddy come along. I have done a little research and it seems that the Big Tuna is probably the best fit, but my Wildy Pride just doesn't want to let that happen.
So let me know what you guys have for sale or what other kayaks I should consider. Thanks, Adrian

The only other option I can find would be the Frontier...

A couple of must have's are raised seat to prevent soggy bottom and adjustable seat positioning to allow to be paddled solo or as tandem.

The 14.5 Native Ultimate is a great tandem/solo boat. The Frontier is pretty nice too though.

If you want to stay in the Wildy family, we have a brand new (I believe 2011 but stand to be corrected) Pamlico 145 tandem in Yellow that would love to go home with you. This sweet Pammy is equipped with a rudder and also quickly converts to a single.
Call the store on Monday for details!

Few what? Tandems? How are you liking the PA? Saw you were adding a creek boat to your fleet. What did you decide on?

A few kayaks from that website above! I was jk, I think it is spam. Anyways, I actually just put the PA on layaway until my income tax comes in which should be any day now. To be honest, this sitting and waiting has me thinking I should have just got two paddle kayaks for the same price I am buying the PA. I don't know man, I just think too much about it.
Haven't decided on the second yak yet. It's between a Ride, Tarpon 100, Commander 120, and Quest 13. Just need to look at them all in person when I go to pick up the PA.

I think the OK Malibu II XL is a great tandem that can be used solo. It's lite compared to most tandems and the profile is lower than the Native, which is good thing on windy days.
