Heading there this weekend with the family for a weekend of fishing and camping. Probaby set out a few jug lines, but was just curious if anybody has been doing any good. Might try for some crappie too...thanks.

Lake is 18 feet low, so watch for stumps. I fish there almost every weekend, cats are biting good I've been getting them in from 2 feet to 40 feet deep. I use Big Marv's cheese bait.
In the beginning there were fish in the waters and birds in the sky, and it was good. And then there were fishing rods and shotguns, and it was very good.

Anytime other than dead of winter I fish humps and holes off river/creek chanels at choke in anything around 10-25 feet of water and catch consistently.
In spring hang to the shallower end of that spectrum.

Hey fellow Bass Fishing Fans, just got back from Choke from three days fishing, caught only a few small fish. Yes, Lake is low, water is turbid and the fish have not moved into the shallows yet. As mentioned earlier, sounds like they are suspended in deeper water. No boat traffic, and the Parks shelters were quite, still a nice trip. Peace, Ken
