Was out yesterday trying to cork for crappie. Ended up with 2 bass on minnows before i gave up and picked up the bass rod. Caught a 3 1/2 lber on a black/blue jig in 6 feet of water. The other two bucks i caught were in 4 feet or so in big mustang.

Tough on us ! Had 13 bites all day. East winds and high pressure kills fishing. You have to be at the right place at the right time !

I got to lake later than I wanted, just fished from 5-7:10 PM. picked a cove and just went really slow flipping all the timber and some moving baits. looked fishy, but didn't get a bite. 2 other boats in cove same time and only saw one fish caught. water was 59.5-62 degrees. I'll be out there 8-7 tomorrow.

Probably young Bald Eagles, they don't get their white feathers until around 5 years old.

Caught a few this evening with a buddy... Got to the lake around 6pm. Heard it was tough though when we were launching. But, tomorrow is a new day... and a south wind!

My son and I caught 19 over the past 3 days, but we did have several slots, topped off w a 7 and a 9.75. Soft swim baits fished very slow and a swim jig w an LFT Live Magic Shad boot tail trailer worked best for us. All were in 4' or less. Did see one fish on the nest at the back of Running Creek.
