Practice Squad hangs with Bigfoot quite a bit.

Nice Fish there for Dennis.

Someone earlier mentioned black bayou, it always hold large numbers of bass, the question will be the quality and what the pressure there might be from locals. Trust me on this, if there are some locals in there fishing come saturday and sunday, they dont care who you are or what tourney you are fishing, they arent going to move out of the way for anybody.

Well, there will be at least one make the run to the calcaieu. Saw BJ Haseotes leaving the Calc. river ramp in Moss bluff this afternoon.

Calcasieu isnt the place to go for numbers, but there are giants in the Calc unlike the sabine.

It's not about the casinos in this case, Ron.

The Stark Foundation, as in Lutcher Stark, as in West Orange Stark....

Kind of a big deal around those parts.

Timber, Oil, you name it. Lutcher was the Arthur Temple of that part of the world.

But it is about the money.

Either way I agree with Fouz. Let em play the game. Kinda like a snow bowl on Foxboro in January.

Wait a minute! That fish has the characteristic appearance of a bass from the Mermentau River!

B.A.S.S. came up with a schedule for the 2013 Elites that features some of the most diverse and diametrically opposed fisheries ever.

And yet folks are complaining once again. Just goes to show that one size does not fit all and you can't please everyone. For me, B.A.S.S. came up with a bit different line-up of venues for 2013 that satisfy any angler's style. Both as a competitor and an observer!

My hat's of to B.A.S.S. for listening to their audience and attempting to think outside "the box."

Fouz, haven't you learned, that's the nature of the beast...

People hate on ike for being too animated.

Meanwhile, Cliff Pace didn't do enough... You can't please em all!

Should be a short weigh in. No waiting in long lines! LOL!

I've seen several comments on FB about them not catching a single keeper in 2 days.

GMan said he drove 150 miles on water and 280 by truck in 2 days and haven't found em. I guess he should read this TFF post....might save him some time and gas. smile

I've seen a dozen redfish pictures! I bet they are eating good at night!

I'd bet money they are laying in bed dreaming about Falcon next week! wink

Then they wake up in a cold sweat when they realize they are on the Sabine River!! Fear the Lower Unit Reeper!!

One of the pro's is staying a friend of mine's house. The pro told my buddy that there were six lower units trashed on Monday, and that the price for a new lower unit is $2,800. He said the ANGLER is required to pay for it. He told him that the "replace for free" days ended about six years ago.

I thought this was crazy, but just passing along what I was told. Interpret as you wish.

I would be shocked if the Yamaha, Mercury and Evinrude Team guys have to pay for their lowers if they knock one off. Granted, not all the Elite guys are Team guys.

Agreed! I am excited as a spectator to watch these guys "work" at this one. Not that they don't work at their job, I just feel that this one will require extra efforts to do well in.

Well, the rest of the story is there are two Elite pro's at my buddy's house. The one that runs a Mercury is probably a team guy. He actually has his own television show. He is the one that said that it cost the angler $2,800 for a new lower unit.

The other pro runs a Honda engine. He told my buddy that he doesn't have to pay anything and that Honda takes care of him.

Again, this is what I was told. Interpret as you wish.
