Looks pretty dangerous to move very quickly north of these creeks- any advice?

Go to conroebass.com and click on boating hazard map. You really got to hug the west bank till you get to the jungle. Then cross over towards the point from cagle. Probably want to take it easy till you watch somebody run it.
