Ive posted on TFF a few times but this is my first time on the kayaking section.....I got tired of spending $50+ just to get my bass boat on the lake and was tired of launching/landing it by myself so I sold it and bought a new Old Town Vapor Angler 10 and a bunch of Yak toys to go with it. I took it out a few days ago and I spent more time paddling around than fishing (I did catch a few dink bass) and thought it was amazing how close you can get to the wildlife on the lake without spooking it and all the lil hidey holes you find that you cant get to with a Boat. Great to have you here. I left a Ranger bass for my kayak a few years ago. I totally agree with being able to sneak close to wild life. Sneaking up on a crane and splashing water on them is Sssoooo much fun.LOL.. But seriously your about to have a great time and notice you will fish a area more thoroughly. Your also going to find when you were run and gunning you were passing up a LOT of bass. were abouts do you live?
