Jigs catch fish year round, and on every lake I've fished. Great weapon to keep in your arsenal!

15. Signature images may not be larger than 600 pixels wide by 125 pixels tall. This includes logos, photos and other graphics. Also, no more than one row of images are allowed. If you want four or five logos in your signature, reduce their size to fit in one row. psalms 91:1-16

Most would say they love a top water bite because you see the action as its happening. Call me a jig fanatic, but I love a jig bite over a top water one. There's just something about thumping those girls in the head. It must be the caveman in me. If a bass had hair, I'd probably drag it along too!

I have that same jig. Looks deadly, havent caught one on it yet tho. Good job on your first jig catch. It took me a while to figure out the jig as well. Now it is a staple in my takle box.

here you go, 1/2 oz missouri craw, 1/2 oz pb&j, 3/8 oz black/blue, 3/8 oz watermelon w/ lt. red flake, and 1/2 oz football in brown craw. check em out and let me know how they work for ya. stick with that jig and be patient and you will be really pleased when you get it figured. these will be sent your way tomorrow.

Congrats! The bad news is, you're ruined for life. Jig fishing is far and away my favorite technique. Soon you'll end up like the rest of us, with waaaay too many jigs and trailers.
Fishing is one of the few things that can break down the walls of age, race, and social differences.
