I'm new to this but I was wondering which is a better lake to bank fish for catfish Lavon or Lewisville?

Did you get out to Lavon?
I ask cause I was out there last Friday and there was NO fish activity. Local guy says that with the water level so low fishing is horrible. Made my way to the Dam and I spoke with some boaters and they said "Not one bite"?...
