Spoons also do good this time of year , in my opinion

I'm very new to this type of fishing, as many of you know. I did a lot of bank fishing for cats in the past...Its how my granddad taught me. I like seeing these kind of post...give me a new lure to research and try. Thanks Brazos!

Im also a spoon fan , cats hit spoons alote also . You can catch alote of fish with spoons because they mimick a two to three inch shad so well.Out at aqullia , there is a big tree surround by a stomped field . I went and threw a spoon around that and was catching little cats every cast.Fun stuff

your right about that bwg. I have caught cats on silver spoons one after another there below whitney dam too

Below lake whitney were the pool is . You have to venture pass the dont enter signs. That is full of boulders and in march and april the blue cats spawn .Blues like to spawn around rocky areas and rip rap .They will destroy spoons ive caught some down there to dually.
