Hey all, it's been a while since I've posted! Just a quick update on my goings-on for the past 10 months:

Had a new full time job starting last June that took up all of my weekdays, and spent all of my weekend time with my wife and now 19 month old son. I haven't been able to do much fishing at all since then. I'm hoping to get back into a little bit when I find the time. What's been going on since I've been gone? Any GIANT sunfish caught? Crazy stories? I feel out of the loop!

Well, I'm hoping to be posting out of Northwest Georgia/Chattanooga soon. I'm originally from Rome, GA and have been here for about 5 years. Looking to move back after getting laid off. It's as good of a time as any to get back close to my family.

I used to fish a lot in the Oostanaula river outside of Rome and we would catch drum like they were going out of style. Can't wait to get back to just floating the river with a rod and a box of worms. One of the really great things is trout fishing up in the mountains near Dahlonega.

The wife and I are getting ready to head out of Texas too. I'm going to miss fishing all these streams, but we are headed to Eglin AFB near Ft. Walton Beach, FL. I guess I'll be doing mostly salty trips now. We are leaving in June and our daughter will 5 months old, she's a little under 2 weeks now, and that is not going to be fun.

Good luck with the job also. I'm going to be in that same boat shortly and I'm not looking forward to it one bit.

Mike
