I only got 1 good one today. It weighed 27 lbs and it was 37 inches long. Nice fish for sure. I did also manage a 8 and a 4. All in all a slow day. I am going further north tomorrow in the boat and I am going to take a tournament bass fisherman with me. I am going to try and convert him to the dark side. LOL Dustin, Clifton, Dave, and Aaron, I do see the fun in bank fishing and I now have 8 rod holders.  This first pic shows the fish with my 4 legged fishing partner. He is a 70 lb lab just for reference.   Nice pics Chuck...Did you need a jack hammer for those rod holders!!!!

nice cat, i like seeing people taking there dogs fishing.... i wish i could do that but my dog seems to run in one direction once he gets out of the truck....

Nice one chuck! Bank or boat u r a catching machine You still got me beat Mark but thanks. I went to Lewisville today and did battle with the wind. I fished where I could, not where I wanted. We found a bunch of eaters. We could not get a fish over 6 lbs in the boat. We caught almost 30 of them and only 2 were channels. Way better than work though.

Took some gumption to even try to fish today !!! WTG Chuck !!! He called stupidity "gumption" LMAO Thanks Kenny for putting it mildly. Today would have been a great bank day. On the way back to the ramp was looking at the side scan and man did we find them stacked up but no way to fish that from a boat. If you would have been on that shore and had a 10 oz weight you might have slayed some good ones. I did mark some big ones and I think today they were very hungry. I just couldn't find the right size fish where I was fishing.
