Well the Reds are thick and mean right now!!!!!! I had two trips last week(Friday and Sunday) and both were full of 24"-34" fish. Most were caught on jigs or swimbaits, but I did have a few crush a topwater!!!!! Water was in great shape with temps ranging from 54-60 mostly. I have the week of 11-15 wide open this month, so give me a call. Thanks

Nate my son Craig came down from dallas friday night and we went to texas bayou fishing saturday morning. Man it was cold and windy. Started out throwing 6"new penny and white 6" jerk shad .No luck on those. we went to the north branch and cuaght 2 ,one 12" and the other one was a 26". We caught them on a chartruse large, metal flake sassy shad sprayed with garlic oil. Had a few hook ups but they would run to the boat and with the wind we couldn'yt set the hook. But all in all we had a good time. Did i mention it was COLD ! Mark

Thanks Nate, I would have called but i forgot to take your number.Craig asked if i had it when we were up the creek and NOT catching anything and i told him that i din't bring it.I think we would have done just fine if the front hadn't gone through the night before. But NEXT time i will give you a call ,just as we did the time before last. Thanks again for all your help.
Mark

Headed out for 8 days with my son. Boats loaded, hooked to the truck, thats full of fuel. Eventually ending up in St Bernard and Plaquemines Parishes middle of next week. 0700 tomorrow, We leave Dallas and head SSE. Should I stop at Sabine ? or roll on to Calcasieu ? Or Vermillion Bay ?

ANY ADVICE GLADLY ACCEPTED...... Trey P
