I know this is TFF but I recently moved from Abilene out to Las Vegas and wanted to know if you guys knew any places around here to crappie fish. I plan on going to Bass Pro to check with those guys as well.

lake mead maybe ?
i think thats the only water they have out there ....LOL
its mostly a striped fish lake from what i remember .....
it may have crappie ....
the locals/bass pro shop might be able to help ya with that question

inquired and they say yes "black crappie" !
and they will most likely be rock ledge drop off types .....
that place is a dessert ya know......
trees dont exist as we know them
luck to ya .....
hammer a big black slab or 2 and post a pick for us ....

Might a good place to start creating you own underwater paradise of crappie condos, "build it and they will come"

I lived out there in 1979 and the Overton arm had some hard wood in it,might check it out. I never fished for crappie, mostly black bass. Get ready for some ultra clear water and fishing deep with lite line.
