I would like to see the fish released after the weigh in back into their original waters. It's illegal to release a fish into another public water...u can let them go in private water but not another lake
I'm gonna miss her....

I would like to see the fish released after the weigh in back into their original waters. That's going to be hard to do if its like any other noodling tournament and has a defined tournament radius, i.e., (100 miles). It's best to just weigh a single big fish or have a smaller limits and then a fish fry for charity. The logistics of returning the fish back to their original waters is fairly unrealistic unless the tournament is restricted to a single lake. In addition, the stress from transportation to and from the lake and being weighed in would likely result in delayed mortality after release. What's wrong with keeping a few fish to eat?

Keeping a few fish for a fry is one thing but keeping 25+ fish over thirty lbs is a bit over kill. That's the problem most of us have with noodling is the keeping of trophy fish caught at the easiet time/spawn of the year! Jmo

People Kill 30# plus fish all the damn Time..Im so sick of everytime someone post a picture or talks about a big fish someone chimes in on about killing them..I am 100% CPR myself as is most of everyone I fish With..and I dont believe in needing these large fish to feed a family...but dam if someone even says anything about noodling a catfish you guys jump on O your killing all our big fish bs..If noodling catfish would hurt the population of catfish to an extent of really destroying it.The men of Tx wouldnt have passed the law..Its been legal in OK for how long now?? And there are toads pulled out of many of the lakes and rivers there often...
