It is a little chilly for fishing here, at least for me. Currently 38Deg.F and raining light. How is the weather there? We usually get some fair weather and good fishing here in February. If we get a few warm days the Black Bass will start to move toward shallow water, big ones first. b
If I'm not fishing or hunting I'm hunting a place to fish or hunt.

But they are not easy to catch, because not much place has them. I just caught one on july 2011 at Hsinchu of Taiwan, that is really fun.

I remember I saw those at the market on my visit to taiwan years ago, they look like a cross between speckled trout and a sand bass
One of the very few sushi chef here...

Looking at the shape and caricteristics. I would think they are temperate bass and close kin to strippers. Even look to have a gill plate that would stick you.

I think it is great that we can talk and discuss fishing with somne from another country, i have a really good friend that is from Taiwan and we have been planning a trip over there looks like we will be headed over there at the end of our summer and it looks like I will need to take rods with me keep the good work up on the reports you put on here great Job .

Welcome to Taiwan travel here, we had many delicious foods lets you enough and happy. The Snakehead fishing began in the summer, they are bigger and powerful fishes and then can be fun for you.
