I fished Tyler today for a bit with my son and the weather was great, it was a little windy but it was warm high 70's so it was pleasant. We found water on Tyler that was 60 to 61 degrees and the bass were there feeding hard. We only caught 10 in about 3 and a half hrs of fishing but they were all stout fish, sizes range from 3 to 9.5lb , most fish caught were in the 4 to 4.5lb range. I broke one off that might have been over 10. These fish were caught super shallow in water 2.5 to 3ft in depth. All fish were caught on crankbaits. Tyler is in spring mode for sure, and in some areas the big girls are shallow and feeding. Heres a pic of the 9.5lber that I caught today. [img:center][/img] tightlines [img:center][/img]

Nice fish. That is a good area down there where you were fishing. I have caught a lot of big fish down there in that end.

Did you guys launch at Hill Creek in a Skeeter? I think you guys put in while we were just leaving. Glad you had better luck, we caught 9 all small, don't know if they would have added up to you biggie!! Congrats!!
