Spent the day Sunday on Ray Roberts. Ended up with 4 in the 3-4 lb class and one dink. All fish were shallow and fat pre-spawners. Two came from an area 1/2 way back in a creek on a small timbered point. A heavy chatterbait was the ticket. Two others came from the back of a creek in 2 ft of water on a small flat off the edge of the creek. Texas rigged Havoc bait worked very slowly through the sticks.

Met a fellow angler at the Jordon Park dock who had caught several including one 7.5 lbs. He had me take a few pictures of her then he released her right there.

Very windy day, water temp in the high 40's low 50's. Water was a bit clearer than I expected. Visibility to 3 ft.

Had about the same luck as you on Lewisville pre-fishing yesterday. Caught 4 for about 12 lbs or so. And let me tell ya that lake was rolling yesterday!

Congrats! I saw several boats at buck creek when I passed over the bridge this evening....and also some shad activity back in the creeks!
