At my father in laws expense.

I have been taking my father in law kayak fishing over the past few weeks to try and catch the sand bass run. Today was his first true taste of the Neches River.

He had been a commercial fisherman in his prime. So he has some what of an ego when you speak to him about fishing. I allowed him to use my Cuda 12 so that he can have an easier trip.

We made our way back up the river, after not catching anything. He started to carry a conversation with some other fisherman about their luck. No sooner than I could throw my line out he was rolling out of the Cuda head first into about 8 feet of water. I was a little concerned at first, but once I saw him moving closer to the shoreline, I knew that he was going to be ok. So I started to laugh at him.....for a really long time. Thanks TXKAYAKER for selling me the second kayak so that I could experience this. It was well worth it.
