Depends on the water clarity, temps, weather etc. Right now on Conroe the water is a little murky, it was windy today with periods of thin cloud cover and then full sun.
I caught them on Citrus or Sexy Shad in full sun and then went to a blue/black chart. when the thin clouds came over. On windy points, where I caught 75% of my fish today, I used cranks that rattled unless I caught 2 in a row and then I'd switch to a silent (that's exactly what produced the 7.1lb on the other thread). In wind protected coves I'd use the silent.
