Carnival north main and hw 28 in fort worth has smaller buffalo usually than fiesta

Started out with nothing and still have most of it left.

I tried using fiesta buffalo last weekend cut into one to two inch chunks. Then soaked in deadred. Unfortunally not even a bite. Moved around to different spots on the banks in lavon but I guess the fish didn't want it that day!! Will try again though!

Buy the fish whole, thaw on site, and beat the smack out of it to get the flesh juices flowing, fillet with skin on and cast. If you have a turkey type injector, inject paste, your favorite attractant, etc, etc, into the fillet before you cast. I've also found with chunk bait like this, it's best to re-bait, cast, often. I usually cut up the old bait into small chum like bits and try to sling shot it out near my lines.

LOL. I'm an old geezer who used to drive from Dallas to Fort Worth on what is now 28th street - it was HW 183 back then - before they built i30, i20 and loop 820. So I had a senior moment and got it all jumbled up. Yes,I meant 28th street. Sorry.
