Hey Marine Mechanic, I have a mariner 150 1983 yr when trying to start it it keeps on trying to start and I had to take the pos battery cable off of battery to stop it. IT has also done this when running, it wouldn't shut off without pulling wire off battery, at that time I had a new starter but now I also have a new controller also but it wouldn't stop trying to start up.

Ijust got back from 21/2 days. and yep they bit on the day i left! fishing was great but the catching not so much. if the weather hold it should be good. spring seems sporadic. Did'nt go to the jetties but on thursday I spoke with 5 men that were out there 4 hrs and only had 1. sure is addicting though!!

see youlive in whitehouse,we may have plan a trip! definatly goin back this month, caught some awsome mean fish in last 3 years are looking for more. and my wife loves it!! we always stay at sabine pass motel. very clean and comfortable and close to the ramp.

If you cant bring home a mess of Flounder and reds something is wrong!
I will be leaving early Sat. morning the 13th and plan on bringing back a cooler full!!!

Specs were good drifting flats sat in front of stewts island fishing the slicks bessie heights the reds are starting to get thicker
