Despite the latest fronts we are still finding em. Myself and Mike "USMC_GY" fished between the fronts and the winds and were able to locate some nice fish. We flat stayed home during the first front due to strong winds. The second front we hit a cove and it was not that bad and the fish were there. We boated some nice fish using jigs. Fish are moving a lot more but are still hanging close to brush piles in 12 to 18 feet of water. Some of the fish we are keeping had eggs in em and I am sure the spawn is very close by. Most fish were released to fight again. The color of choice on the jigs continues to be the red/green and pink/white. After a super day on the water you got to stop at Blakes Cafe which we did. Lunch was GREAT! It don't get any better.

Gonna have to start calling you, "The can't stop, won't stop!" Way to go!

Im sure glad to see you mostly practice catch and release....
Otherwise you would be running out of fish to catch in the river lol!

Thanks "1tex". Most of the fish I catch are released. I do keep a few when I get the urge for a fresh fish dinner and a cold Shiner Bock!.

Thanks "Tboxfish" for the reply. Hopefully I can still find em when Spring and Summer time gets here. Also once the jet fleas,ski boats,and wake boats get out there it is a very hard river to fish.
