 Lipless Crankbait Color Selection Tips Video - What is Your Favorite Color Trap?

Hello Bass Fishing Fans, during your next fishing trip make sure to fish a lipless crankbait to hook up with some nice pre-spawn largemouth! This is a great reaction bait to use in cold water and often catches giant bass. I like to use 4 different colors when fishing this lure. I like chrome, gold, chartreuse, and red. During the pre-spawn I will usually fish lipless crankbaits very quickly through shallow water in 2-6 ft. On days when the bite slows, try to slow down your retrieve to keep the bait just above bottom. I've been really digging the SK gizzard shad and green gizzard. Rayburn red is always a great spring choice, chrome and blue back, and gold. My partner racked up on some 3/4 Bill Lewis Pumpkinseed traps at Martin Creek a few weeks ago, but we can't find a replacement. His last one is under 10' of water on the N end if you guys want to find it! Good video!

I caught a GIANT in January on an American shad LC Takahiro Omori lipless crank. I had not gotten a bite all day fishing very slow like I usually do. I remember something you said earlier this year in some thread about sometimes getting reaction strikes with lipless cranks fished relatively faster in colder water, so I switched to that bait and stuck a monster. Just wanted to say thank you and it's awesome to get great tips from guides like you. Just weird how that one comment you made stuck in my head and prompted me to switch to the right bait and presentation.
