Does anyone know if Willie Robertson actually paid for that Basscat he rode up in the other day? It looked pretty cool with twin power poles and that 250 on the back...Then they go catfishig.

Actually they live very frugal. That's not Willie's house they show (the masion). That is Phil's house though....good ol double wide! All of their trucks are given to them. Phil gets his truck from McKaig in Gladewater. He was also give then Side by Side ATV for doing the commercial. They like the Barter system!

Did you guys know about Phil Robertson's QB background? I just read yesterday that he was the starter at Louisiana before Terry Bradshaw. Bradshaw said he would show up to practice with squirrel tails in his pockets. He turned down the NFL to duck hunt. Worked out well for him.

Phil was the duck commander for many years...he is not new to the fame....he is a simple man. I would like to hunt with these guys someday. jase has the same personality as Texas Smoke on the TFF. I like the show. I really like how they end every show with a prayer while the family is all around the table for dinner.
