So I am not sure if this anything new but I wanted to share with anyone who is interested. All I tie is my version of a clouser for fishing above a slab for whites and hybrids. I have bought Loon Outdoors Hard Head Cement in a variety of choices...clear, glow, and red flake. I really like the looks but my bottles would dry up costing me $$$.

This season I decided to give the hobby stores a try and glad I did. This what I came out with.



Apply your coat to your fly head with small brush...this head was blue as you will see later.



After drying this what you get.





Then apply your favorite sealer, cement or epoxy. I used Loon Hard Head Clear which allow me to build up my heads after 2 coats. Here is the finished project.

I hit the cheap nail polishes at Walmart for a variety of styles. Your system is probably cheaper; I need to check it out.
