Well, I hit the waters of Lake Amistad and I mean literly ! I apologize to all the people from the TFF that I owe phone calls from the last 3 days. It was at the end of the day and I had just taken my phone out of the glove box for a call and did not put it back. 5 min later I was over the side, in the water. I can now say for sure the water temp is really 58 and it is a great motivater in assisting a big guy to get back in the boat. oh and Under Armour cold weather bottoms and tops while they may appear similar to a wet suit they REALLY draw the water in, and not keep it out. smile

Please excuse all the spelling errors, I fish not type !

Anyway, I will resolve my phone situation tomorrow, when I get off the water in the mean time you can reach me on my home phone after 5pm (830)768-0605. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Respectfully,

Jc Gwynne

Hahahaha.....I feel your pain. Jumped in the other day to free my prop up from some line. Iphone fail......was in the water while the phone was vibrating, I knew I was screwed.

I took Cecil Fielder fishing once {yes the baseball player}...Got on pad and got to the first spot I wanted to graph, went to shut the boat down and noticed the boat tilting REAL bad to Cecil's side...Now granted he was a BIG boy at the time but not that big...At that moment I realized I didnt put my plug in, had to reach over the side and could feel it hanging there...Had to jump in to screw it in and yes my phone was in my pocket!

Funny Stax.

I got down to my boxers one spring morning on Santee to put a plug in. My wife laughed her butt off. I would have gone back to the ramp but I had just run 20 miles so I figured getting naked was quickest. Boy was it cold (high pitched voice)

It was pretty funny after it was all over with...We caught up with my buddy later that morning, who had Cecils son Prince and his BIL in his boat and he told them the story and said and I quote..."This white boys is crazy!...He just looked at me and said, hey man hang tight I will be right back and JUMPED IN THE DAM LAKE!"

I fell in one time in December or January, snow all over the trees and ground, super windy and cold... my only savior was that we were on a power plant lake. It felt like a hot tub and I didn't want to get out. grin

My dad, on the other hand, fell in during the same time of year and almost couldn't get back in the boat. My mom didn't let him live that one down for a long, long time.

Glad you're ok, and sorry about your phone!
