OP milkfisher Pro Angler M Joined: May 2005 Posts: 739 DFW	I love my PA's. specifically the number of eyes on the blank. But what is a slightly lighter weight rod thats has #1 more feel, #2 be a little less of a broomstick #3 that can still handle a 50 What say yee? JoeyM Outdoorsman J Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 96	Tournament choice rods from Academy. I have caught 50lb fish on them, but i enjoy the backbone of my PA rods better. For 12 bucks yo ucant beat them. Wish they had a longer handle on them though.

Great all around rod and has more than enough back bone to haul in big blues. But for big fish or fishing cover i'll put a PA up against any rod. You're going to sacrifice some sensitivity for power though.
