for what its worth, with all the boats in the water do you really think a fish cares, they see so many any more that I doubt it matters what color, all they want to do is eat (but not what I am offering most of the time from my grey hull)

I have had both, it didnt seem to matter, but I like the look of a black hull better, thought it would show more scratches but I was surprised and can't see any on mine...... yet!!!

Obviously there is no scientific research in the answers but a lot of the theories make since too me. I think I will be going w/ a sexy shad skyline blue with a thin line of sunshine orange. The center of the hull will be outlined with hydrilla and chunk rock gray. I will then add crawfish stickers and gorilla glue some swim baits to the trolling motor shaft.....!!! lol

The white reflects more light than black. I think that does make a difference. And I have seen bass spook from metal flake reflecting into the water.

I had a blue hull on one boat and a black one on my current boat....It made no difference (I still don't catch fish). A friend of mine has a fishing barge with a white bottom boat and regularly kicks my butt. Your friend is pulling your chain

One of the reasons the pros have the black hulls is bc the white stands out to other fisherman from a distance if u get a black hull it kinda hides u from other fisherman. If u pull into a cove and there is a white and black boat in there u will see the white boat b4 u see the black. This is what a pro had told me of y he picks his boat colors. Just my 2cents.
can't catch fish if you arent at the lake...go fish!!!

You will need the KVD edition hull color to be safe. Gold. A+. +1, one of Marks' best

Fish have white belly to blind in with sky when seen from below. It's camouflage. Sooo in theroy you hide better in light bottomed boat

I would keep this in mind,.....if I could afford to order a new boat. Meanwhile, I'll just struggle along in my ole Ranger, with its light-sand colored hull.
Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

My hull is red, so maybe they'll think it's a big crawfish.
