So I get an email from some dude in London...seems fishy but I respond...what the heck nothing to loose. About a week later I get an email, he wants to book 10 days 2 guides and 3 rooms. He calls me and says he is sending his credit card info and wants me to charge $13 grand, $4000 for me and $9k for his travel agent. The email looks completely on the up and up and so does his phone calls. Luckily my gut told me this wasn't right so I called Cams mom, Mrs. Dana and talked with her and she said it didn't sound good and then I visited with Boudreaux & Guy and they said they've seen it before. You run the card, then they dispute the charge. So, luckily I didn't follow through...I'm dumb, but not stupid!!! Just a heads up, I'd hate to have to drive all the way to England to put a good ol country butt whoopin on some one for screwing over a guide, it's a scam guys. Just a heads up!

How do you lose if he sends you his cc info, you bill it and he disputes it? You're not out any service yet, right?

it's amazing at the scams people come up with these days. everywhere you turn there is another damn scam. dorks in their mom's basement.

Fouz....it's $13k and he said the card was his "sponsors". He also wanted me to send $9k to his "travel agent". Take the money and run type deal, if the money comes out and they don't have the funds...the person would be $13k in the hole.

Im with ya RK that dont sound right...Why would some guy you never met, clear across the pond, want YOU to pay HIS travel agent!?!?!  ...Pay your own dam travel agent! Believe me...I have hung out with your crazy arse...I aint having you pay NOBODY!!! LOL!!!
