Guys - three very important things for this tournament. (1) When you show up Friday between 5PM to 10PM or Saturday between 5AM to 7AM make sure you pick up your fisherman's number from the Suddenlink team at the Concho Pavillion. (2) while doing this make sure you sign a ticket for the chance at the boat - again, someone will win $500 to $1000 or the skeeter boat but you have to get a ticket, fill it out for a chance at the dough or the boat. (3)Only paid contestants are elgible but make sure you sign up starting at 9am Saturday for the Skeeter Challenge and take your ride - a drawing will be held and the winner will get $500 at the event. Everyone is welcome to sign up and ride.

OK - we are 2:PM and sitting at just over 100 on-line entries. Today, Thursday @ 5:PM, our early entry shuts down. Starting at 5:01PM we go to our late entry costs $75 and no more on-line entries. Notices are on our Suddenlink Open - facebook and fishtheopen.com . Please make sure to at least get your shot on the $500 Skeeter Challenge. We want those Demo Pro's back next year and we want someone walking away with cash from Dean's Marine. We have some great auction items too - $1200 towards GoodYear tires, Cross Texas Supply gas Trimmer & Cordless Drill, $200 towards Red Wings Boots, Safari Studio's has a $450 fish mount replica, Woman's Oakley Sunglasses w/ Ed Hardy Belt (Happy wife, happy life), 30 rounds 9mm - 30 rounds 40 cal - 30 rounds 45 cal - tactical jacket at a $190 value, Liquid Silver Necklace/ Dyed Fresh Water Black Pearls combo @ $330 value, Chargriller w/ igloo Icechest @ $140 value, Icast Carrot Sticks w/ Strike King Bag @ $300 value. We have about 60 raffle items from rods, to rod and reel combo's, crankbait packs from DuCote Custom Lures & Artwork and many more items. Lets see what we can do to raise cash for HOSA (Hospice of San Angelo) to take care of those that need their help.

I have been asked multiple times over the last 5 years how Suddenlink and bass fishing meshed. For those folks that lay in our footprint here is my response. Our video programming brings fishermen like you and I multiple channels with tons of fishing programming like the Outdoor Channel which lead us to our friend Joe Thomas. If your anything like me you never have enough tackle or information on the next tournament or body of water your planning on fishing. With our highspeed data you can connect to those on-line shops that sells us all that great tackle or google directions to those local shops like Field & Stream. It also ties us into texasfishingforum for great info on where to go or what to throw while on the water. You can explore maps of lakes you'll be fishing on and get a head start on cutting the lake down to a manageable size before even getting there. Between our HSD and phone service you can contact friends for information, set up hotel rooms and keep an eye on weather conditions. The best part of this is our better half has all those reliable services to keep them entertained while we're all on the water! Hopefully this explains some of the things we do to keep you connected and current and how we tie Suddenlink services to our enjoying our outdoor activities.
