Great report John!! The fishing on Hubbard has been very consistent all winter!!
My buddy and I got really spoiled catching minimum 60 fish every trip out!
Good problem to have.

Now that is some catching not fishing! Thanks for all the pictures and write up. I agree this year there are just some magnum sand bass out there. I call them Tawakoni starter kits! Some are just plain huge. They fight like a small hybrid. Great report John....

John really put us on the fish. We filled out our limits and continued to catch 14-16" sandies for another hour and a half. The size of the average fish was impressive for any lake in North Texas. If you're looking for a guide on RH, John is a great guy to fish with and the pictures speak for themselves.

Nice going John! I as well can not belive the size of the sandbass coming out of mother hubbard this winter. I have been saying Hubbard, Tawakoni style almost.

Yep, my last trip on RH, I measured one at 16.5 inches that took the small 3" flukes on top of the slab. Of course when the touney comes all I catch are 10 inchers!!!

Of course when the touney comes all I catch are 10 inchers!!! Hahaha that will be the day I dont catch any! Great report JV. Glad you got on them again. Im loving this drifting, so much easier than chasing them.

You were on a roll all weekend!! I can't wait to get done with these house upgrades so I can work on getting the boat back on the water!!
Folks gave JV a call if you are ready to really learn Ray Hubbard or if you just wanna stock the freezer!!
