hit a new section of river looking for these and only found a few, it should get better in the next few weeks.  but found these instead  love the shadow in this pic  these fish had great color  the big fish of the trip  another good fish  caught several smaller ones that didn't make the cut :cool check out the blog for more http://2flyfish4.blogspot.com/

Good looking fish man.. I know they can be a pain at times, but those are some fun fish right there..

When a young lad growing up in Louisiana, those were pests in my father's hoop nets because they would tear holes in them and allow the catfish, buffalo, and gou to escape. They caused a lot of repair work and lost income to a poor fisherman.
They were good for target practice when sitting on the riverbank; you just had to be quick to spot and aim.

Nice catches! I think I would stay well clear of the business end on those lol. Looks a tad painful.
Coloring on that smaller one is beautiful.
