Cliff Pace pulled it off and Cherry let it slip thru his hands I was off grabbing supper when they showed the replay, sounds like he lost a big fish?

yes I was very shocked with his response, that guy had zero emotion, do not worry guys I will not respond like that when I win it one day! haha I got the privilege of attending yesterday, met Mr. G Loomis, Roland Martin, Denny Brauer, Jimmy Houston, and the Bill Dance! Awesome experience, (hope Ike has a good year!)

Very good win. He knew he had to stick with a plan to fish the jig to catch the bigger fish if he was going to win. He knew he wouldn't get many bites. After only catching 2 fish this morning then going several hours without a bite, he stuck to his game plan and is now a Bassmaster Champion. That takes guts!
I watched the live weigh in on my computer, and for you guys that did not see the emotion, he almost broke down crying when all the confetti was coming down. Has to be a shocking moment no matter who you are.
Congrats to him!

They showed the video at the weigh-in of Cherry losing his fish. It was painful to watch.

Just got back from the big show in Tulsa. If you haven't been to one of these your missing out. I got to talk to most of the anglers and they are not only Elite but a great bunch of guys.
I Fished all day of day two and never got a hit.
I have never marshaled before but that looks like like a great way to pick up on some skills.
