I am looking for some advice from you veterans, planing on sinking some brush in the sabine river & north end of toledo bend. What works best? Cedar, Willow, Oak, Ect. What depth also

Willow first then oak. Nothing wrong with cedar though, or bamboo for that matter.

Thanks for giving him the advice Keith...Say, i liked the youtube video...That guy has an uncanny resemblance to a TFF guy over in Frost that fishes at NM!!!!...

Willow, or whatever is available on the bank closest to where you are planning on sinking the pile.

Thanks for all the info guys, I sank 4 cedar trees at different locations from 9 to 12 foot deep. It will be a couple weeks before i get to try them out but i will post results.

What about foilage on the brush tops that you sink. I saw on on this site where some guys were burning the leaves off of there brush before sinking it. I always thought the green leaves or foilage would attract the fish. Please tell me you thoughts people.

don't worry about it...I like the green better myself...I'm guessing they just wanted to hide it better..

when using bamboo...green or brown(dry) which is better?
