I tried posting some pics last year but never could get them to copy. Finially tried again today and here's a couple of the pics. My son had caught a 4.30lb from the exact same spot a week before and insisted we go back to try it again even though I wanted to try a different area. Guess I'll listen to him alot more often. This one weighted in at 8.30lbs. bettering the record by almost 2 full pounds. Thanks to the folks at the marina for ALL their help in measuring, weighing and certifing. I didn't think of the junior class, and we were tying down the boat and about to leave when they ran out to our truck and informed us it was a new junior record. Thanks again to them. Later he told his Mom that was the most exciting day of his life. You just can't beat memories like that.TAKE A KID FISHING

That's awesome! I grew up fishing that lake, and that size bass is not easy to catch! Way to go young man!

That's awesome! I grew up fishing that lake, and that size bass is not easy to catch! Way to go young man! Buddy of mine caught a 10lber from the bank out of there last year when the lake was pretty low. Seems like they are easier to catch when they dont have as much water to hide in! lol
