Hey guys, I've never fished Tyler and heading out there with my father in-law. I am looking for any info to get us on the fish. I have read lots of posts about East being better and the same about West being better. Which is better for cold weather? What can I throw at them on Tyler, they like the most?

I have a side bet with him on who will land the most for the day. So any info would be great. Thanks!

Good luck getting info from TYLER guys. Just fish staging areas with whatever you like to throw. I haven't found them to be too picky.

Sure is funny, how people get on here looking for tips right before a tournament on the lake. When there isn't a tournament on Tyler, you don't see anyone looking for "any info to get us on the fish".

Fish it like you would any lake this time of year.You won't get many reports due to a Tournament on Sat. guys are tight lipped.

When do you plan on fishing Tyler??? Maybe I could help if you let me know when you will be there. There is a tourny on Tyler almost every weekend. There is no grass left, so your best bet is to rely on your graph to locate schools and throw a drop-shot or carolina rig.

It's so terrible we had a 30+ lb sack this summer. Fish don't die because of lack of grass, but then again they may teach that at A&M these days!
