Asked this Q in Rod/Reel, not a lot of activity there:
I have a BPS gift card burning a hole in my pocket and the big spring sale starts tomorrow. So, I need to make a decision:
1. Revo Winch
2. Revo STX
3. Shimano Chronarch
4. Shimano Curado E
5. Punt on a reel and get another GLoomis rod IMX
Which of the above should I do? I CANT DECIDE!

I would get the revo stx. I have all.shimano but the revos look great and I like the 8:0:1 gear ratio

The Chronarch you're looking at is the previous model Curado E painted white and black and bumped up $50.00 in price. I've taken both apart and they are 100% mechanically the same. Still a good reel but you can probably find a Curado 200E for a lot less on the boards.
I'd go STX!
