Well, when I receive my rod in the mail I will let you know what I think about it, okay? Although I've never owned or used one so I won't be able to comment on whether or not their quality is slipping but I will let you know if I got my money's worth. Thanks again for your comment on this forum.

Bobcat my intentions of that post were not to squeeze an apology out of you continue to voice your opinions i just want to make it clear that my intentions were not to bash anyone I know y'all didn't know my original intentions how could you I apologize people took it that way though I could have probably used better wording in the title

Your post title promotes that Pro Angler Rods are declining in quality. Far from the truth....
I would hope that if anyone has an issue with product or service I provide that they contact me first. I would not get a very fuzzy feeling if I stumbled across a thread stating an issue a customer has with product or service I provide even if it had something good in it. Even though you stated you love the rods most time the issue dilutes the good "it is human nature". Everyone here that provides a service to the TFF family I suspect would feel the same and I can contest that getting the issue resolved in a timely manner is priority. "things happen"
Criticism on the other hand is not a bad thing. It is what makes me better. It is how one deals with it and I know Ed will deal with it in the utmost manner as he does care about his customers.
Good people and Great products at Pro Angler.

I have 2 Proangler rods and the only problem I have with them is that I don't get to fish them enough.

Honestly even if I had contacted him like the time before and he fixed it I would have probably asked the same question to see if anyone else experienced the same issue and yes I agree the wording in the title could have been better as stated in an earlier post

What's the point of being on a forum if you gotta walk on egg shells. They are good rods for what they cost. Your not going to get the same quality for 40 bucks as you are for 199.
My thoughts on this. If someone had a problem with a car you sold them, you would want them to come to you first right? I know I would. On the other hand if I knew of someone ripping someone off and they wouldn't make it right I would blast them on this forum. Well if it was on a car forum I wouldn't really care much as I would be right there to step in and correct the problem. If you can't talk about the durability of a rod that is commonly used and owned by tffr's, i don't see a problem with the original post. I do see your point Bobby, but not everyone probably knows that Ed at Pro Angler is just a phone call away.

I have a total of 12 of the 10' Crappie Rods from Pro Angler and I have got to say I LOVE THEM!
Last year, I had my boat loaded and ready to leave for a tournament when someone ripped me off. They basically stripped the boat including electronics, batteries, cooler, tackle, and all my rods/reels (I was able to recover the boat, motor, & troll motor). Before replacing the stolen rods, I experimented with a number of other brands and models. I did like a couple of them... However, for the money, I couldn't come close to Pro Angler's quality. I now own just about every Crappie rod that Pro Angler sells and my favorite is the 10' model with the cork handle. I use them for Spiderrigging, Casting, Jigging, and just about everything. I have several of the 8'ers designed for jigging, but I still like the 10'ers the best. I do have a couple of the short "Dock Shooter" rods, but still haven't mastered them yet.
The 12' model they sell is a great rod for spider rigging, but they do not store easily in my boat, so I find myself almost always using the 10' rods. Anyway, just wanted to voice my opinion about Pro Angler and the great stuff they sell.

ED is a good dude, he will make it right, !!!!
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Well, if that is the case, I would end up throwing it overboard first time i caught a fish...just like I would be trying to get rid of a grenade! Why it would scare me half to death!

Went to the barge and wow do I like this rod its going to change my fishing for sure. I am very pleased with it. I did not know that it came with a cover that was nice to see. And yes you sure can feel the hits on it.

Okay, so I ordered the 8 footer rod on Thursday and the package was sitting on my doorstep on Friday!!! It's a nice looking/feeling rod and I can't wait to use it!!! I might look weird on the Lewisville fishing Barge with an 8 foot rod but who cares? I don't own a boat so that's where I fish.

I had an eye that came loose, on the tip section on one my 10 footers. Showed it to Bob and he replaced it without question today. I purchased 3 additional 8 and 10 foot tips sections and was on my way within 5 mins.
Thanks, Pro Angler!
