Crappie Masters has a tournament March 9 at Fork. This is a one pole ultimate challenge tour. For the one pole tournaments, there is no late entry the night before the tournament. Entries must be rec'd two weeks before the tournament. So if you're thinking about fishing it, and haven't entered, you have three days left to enter. Entry on line is available.

Talked with Mike Valentine this morning. This tournament is artificial bait only. Rules I quoted will be corrected on the web site. Entries will be accepted the night before and late fee applies.

I did notice the schedule shows you can sign up late but in the rules it states you can't. Also, the rules shows live bait but somewhere else I thought I read artificial only. Guess we will find out for sure at seminar.

I know I read team of Gaby/Jordan...bare hook only and no running big motor....trolling motor only.

You and Duck Jerky will be given a flat bottom boat with a padle and one can pole each.

The rules say all one pole challenge tournaments are artificial bait only. And sign up has to be before the 23rd witch probably hurts them more than helps. the artificial only will make it interesting though.
