I need a starter motor for a 1984 suzuki 85h.p. motor. The one on my motor is not working. I took it off and cleaned the bushings and magnet. It still don't work. Any one know where I can go to get this starter rebuilt or can buy a used or refurb? Its a Hitachi model S114-4070 thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for that website. 600 dollars is a little too much for me right now. I'm hoping for a used , refurbished, or a shop that can fix mine for a more reasonable price. A local place. Ma and pa shop that does good work without the high cost.

There's a guy in Wichita Falls think it's called ATEX Generator, that rebuilt the one off my Mariner. Less than a hundred bucks.

I found a website called db electrical.com that had a brand new one for 188.50 dollars with free shipping. That was the cheapest price, a few others were in the 600. to 800.00 range. I thought about doing a rebuilt one, but for 60 dollars more I could get a new one with a full years guarantee
Thanks ya'll
