Perfect for people who can't set the hook hard anymore.

Don't have to set the hook hard. The trokar point comes thru the fishes face wherever it is at in their mouth.

Never used them but have felt them in my hands and they seem like nice hooks. My personal opinion of them is that Eagle Claw was getting their butts kicked by Gammy, Owner, and Mustad, so they decided to figure out a way to target the higher niche of the market. Innovate something on the hook, put it in a fancy package, market the pants off of it, and charge more than everyone else. No slam on the hooks themselves, quality seems to be nice enough. I haven't had all that much luck with Eagle Claw hooks, though.

Trokar is and will be all I use. When you crack one with a Trokar that hook goes through bone like none other. I have also noticed that 1 Trokar will last longer and stay sharp than other brands. I used to catch 10-15 fish on one hook and have to throw it away. Trokar i don't have that problem. Not knocking any other brands because now days they are almost all great. But to me there is no other like Trokar.
I can backlash toilet paper.

A few years ago, one of the other hook companies used this same hook point design. I can't remember who it was. My point being that they really aren't that original. I just hope they survive. I really like them. The design of the point cuts through the tissue with ease--kinda like the arrow heads used for hunting.
