don't remember the exact date but march of 11 I got what would have been a new state record for up here (another was caught a week or so later that may or may not have beat mine). perch swim bait, private lake, fishing off one of the docks, this is a small lake but constantly produces big bass along with 2 others on the property. 14.8 on berkley scales (always light compared to our certified scales for tourneys). released back into the lake to spawn and raise some more potential records. could not get a gw out to certify without killing her.

T-Rig worm, grape with firetail
Caught a lot of 6's and 7's since then, but can't seem to eclipse the 8 lbs mark

10.46 on Sam Rayburn, February 1996, on a Arkansas Shiner colored Sluggo.
I almost beat it on April 2011 with a 10.43 on Falcon with a watermelon red senko.

Hunter caught the 9.02 below on Rayburn in April of 2008 on a Junebug Mag II.

i have 9lb 1oz
one from ray rob april 10 2010 on a t-rig pumpkin/seed baby brush hog
The other came off moss lake december 14th 2010 on a black and blue pig n jig
I literally live for the next bite!

Caught 9 over 10lbs. looking for 10th hopefully this year. 6 of them on Lake Conroe, 1 on Falcon, 1 on Toledo Bend, and 1 on a private lake.
Largest was 12.67 on Conroe with a mini brush dog in watermelon seed. Others were on jig/pig, spinnerbait, zara spook (that was my favorite!), senko, lizard, rest on worms.
