well my father wore them, my grandfather wore them, and on and on. I guess when your endowed with wide shoulders, and a flat butt, your pretty much destined, to either wear suspenders, or walk around pulling your pants up all day long. especially if you are like me and tend to carry alot of stuff. keys, pocketknife, cellphone, lucky marble, and sometimes a bond arms hunk of cold stainess steel. so far, they arent too bad,and im getting used to them pretty good. I may even add that nice leatherman suspertool thats really is quite heavy and has been sitting in my crappie assault pack for years, to my DCI.. (daily carry items). Ive been checking around and they make some pretty cool suspenders,.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I wear them when I hunt. Used to wear Bib overalls everyday. Now I wear shorts most all the time since we moved to town. You'll like them Steve.

REALLY? Crappie don't care what you wear. This one needs to go in the equipment forum. Don't see any relevance to crappie fishing here. Maybe I should make a post to ask if I should wear my camo coat on fall/winter days fishing or my blue coat on spring days. Come on folks.

That's great Dave except when you suffer like I do from noassatall and biggutlaputhova. Britches just slide right off.

I do that all the time, little chartreuse green spots all over the deck! Suspenders will prevent that?
