I've noticed the same pattern on LL! Fishing vertically with a little twitch every now and then had been producing very few fish. So I've been moving the jig horizontally and bringing it up slowly at the same time and WHAMMO! Funny how much difference it makes...

Nice mess of fish!About the only thing Ive learned in 40+ years of fishin is there is always somethin new to learn!Sometimes you is the bug and sometimes you is the windshield lol!

Good catch my friend. Indeed we all should try to improve/increase our skill level. Im with you on the slowing down part. Dead sticking is a beast! When that jig is sitting still in front of those crappie and you barely move the jig, the crappie can't stand it! It's like it pisses them off and they hit the jig with very bad intentions. We both know that slowing down and dead sticking is deadly. If you recall last year we both caught a limit on jigs and we weren't even holding our rods. We had them laying on the boat.
