A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Dude are you serious??? Do you know how many of us have lost stuff at lakes? Boat ramps?!! Why don't you be more helpful by providing specifics instead of trying to be "vague" ? This sort of post gives the feel that your hoping someone doesn't step forward. If it belongs to someone they will call you and give more specifics what and where it was lost

We have had many TFF folks that step up and say "who lost a tackle bag at fork" or "who believes they lost a life jacket at xyz boat ramp" and etc.

I don't think his intent is to keep it. If someone knows they lost something then they should be able to say what it is. If he says "found red tackle bag by a tree at the lake" then any dishonest person could claim it.

The title tends to lead people to believe is a different type of thread. Not a lost and found thread.

Not tring to be vague at all man I was just there so I stated in the last two days from post. Ban d hit the head on the nail. I was there Sunday was found wed so if you didn't fish Monday or Tuesday its not yours. And seeing as their is only one model like ban d said just trying to keep an honest person honest. You would know if you lost it and woul just like to find its reall owner. N there are a bunch of people than would not have bothered. I have bumped the post both places I mentioned it. I have something comparable so no intention of wanting it lol. But I guess ill say thanks for the bump.

I lost a nice ultralight rod and Shimano reel I kicked outta my boat at Lake Murray last August. Made me sick watching it sink in that clear water. I put on a slab and tried to snag it but no luck.

Would the person even know if they were missing it? Meaning something they use everyday? Don't care what it is but just wonder if the found item is even going to missed by the original owner anytime soon?
