26 foot of floating line, comfort cuff, 1 pound of weight per foot! DONT BUY NETS FROM WALMART! THEY SUCK! I have been using throw nets from walmart for several years and I just found out the nets at academy are CHEAPER! Now I have a good one and I am gonna try it out tomorrow. I am thinking about throwing my walmart net first and if it doesn't get hung up I'll throw this one...

The are good nets but I prefer 7' nets.

Put that bad boy in a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and add a cup of fabric softner. That thing will be limp as can be. It will open 10x easier

I keep one on hand. It's a good creek net and rocky shoreline net. I'll use better nets in other places.

Where did you get it? I threw my wal mart junker for 2 and a half hours and got skunked this morning. Finally gave up and went home. I've had bad days catching bait before but always manage to catch enough to at least put a line in the water. This net takes forever to sink.

Mark, I've owned several of those nets over the last few months. They are good nets with one minor issue that's easy to overcome. Up by the swivel where the brail lines meet the handline they have a metal crimp. First time you throw and get stuck on something a little bit some of the brail lines will pull through the crimp making the brail lines, and net very uneven. It's very time consuming to pull the brail lines individually through the crimp again to make it even again. If you tie a simple overhand not (yes you have to pull all 26 ft of handline through to do it) just below the crimp, it will keep all the brail lines even should you get hung up a little. I do this first time I open the box and remove the net
